Wendy works across four main workstreams, with a range of clients.

Strategy

With a career in leadership and management and specialism in human resources, Wendy is a non-executive director and business coach.  Wendy attained the Financial Times Level 7 Diploma for Non-Executive Directors to accredit her corporate law knowledge and governance experience.

Wendy holds non-executive director roles for a leadership development organisation, a private training provider, and for a coaching membership body.

Wendy was recently Chair of the Governing Board for EMCC UK working collaboratively with the President and Executive Board on the strategic direction to meet the needs of the UK membership.

Wendy is currently Chair of the South East Coaching Group – a regional coach membership body. Wendy drives strategic development with the Board and builds stakeholder relations to buy in to new modernised membership offer, together with strategic alliances with other organisations. The SECG is very proud of its contribution to giving back to the community through training, coaching and networking.  The membership offer includes continuing professional development through events, training, networking, special interest groups and resources.

Coaching

Executive Coaching

Wendy has been offering executive and business coaching for around 30 years and has 2500+ coaching practice hours. She works with senior directors and boards, as well as managers at all levels.  Coaching tends to be mainly with individuals, although some team coaching projects have been completed. Wendy works with a wide range of coaching topics including change situations, career direction, and problem solving.  Wendy enjoys using the Time to Think methodology and is a member of the Thinking Environment Collegiate to maintain competence and experience.

Coaching Supervision

Wendy has been offering coaching supervision for around 10 years and has 500+ supervision practice hours. She works with both individual and group supervision and focuses mainly on normative, formative and restorative techniques. Wendy is an accredited supervisor with EMCC and holds an ILM Level 7 Diploma in Coaching Supervision.

Quality

Wendy has a background of working with both accreditation and qualifications from a quality assurance management perspective.  Wendy currently works with EMCC Global across international coaching qualifications and individual accreditation, as well as the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) for HR and L&D qualifications and Chartered membership assessment (all levels).  Previously Wendy worked with the Institute of Leadership & Management qualifications,  the London Chamber of Commerce business qualifications, and for the Qualifications & Curriculum Authority on the development of vocational education.

She specialises in advising organisations towards achieving coaching cultures as a way of working and approach to managing people.

Wendy is an Investors in People Practitioner, advising and guiding organisations to develop their systems and processes by way of investing in their people, towards meeting the framework over a period time, and then maintaining and improving provision.

Wendy also works with the Investors in Apprenticeships and Investors in Wellbeing frameworks.
